It takes courage to grow up and become who you truly are.- e.e. cummings
If you could choose any other career what would it be?
Writer, comedian, or vampire slayer.
Favorite thing to do in St. Louis?
BRUNCH. I’ve entered the phase in my life where the breakfast at noon is way better than the tequila at midnight and I’m totally fine with it. I love trying new local brunch places with my best friend while discussing how we wish we were cool enough to enjoy bloody mary’s but it just tastes like cold pasta sauce.
What is your hair specialty?
I’d say my specialty is helping my clients find themselves through their hair. Whether that is doing an edgy undercut, playing with some fun bright colors, or encouraging them to try a subtle balayage. Nothing energizes me more than when a client trusts me to facilitate a hair risk they’ve “always wanted to try” and then hearing how they finally have a style to reflect their personality. For some it may be a really drastic change, and for others it might be smaller. Either way, it’s amazing to get to be a part of that transition.
Do you have any pets?
A bulldog named Loddi, and a Boston Terrier named Gonzo. They are mostly terrible, but I’d be lost without them.
What is in your refrigerator right now?
I buy a lot of vegetables. But I eat a lot of pizza…So mostly right now there is gradually rotting produce and Flying Cauldron, a generically branded butterscotch soda cashing in on the popularity of Harry Potter without stepping on copyright infringement.
